What go you into jewelry? I caught the jewelry bug in high school, learning the trade in a small jewelry shop close by. After high school, I went to SUNY New Paltz in the Hudson Valley where I received my BFA in Metal.

What got you into jewelry: I took jewelry as an elective at art school. From the moment they put the torch in my hand, I was hooked on the glow of the fire, the flash of the solder, and the sizzle of water to cool hot metal. I changed my major immediately after.

Favorite Piece of Jewelry: A ring that used to be my father's that has an enamel rainbow and abalone mountains inlayed in mother of pearl.

What got you into jewelry? I started making and selling friendship bracelets in elementary school and never looked back.

What got you into jewelry? Growing up, I would have vivid dreams of elaborate gemstone jewelry, but I didn't get into making jewelry until later in life. I love the meditative state of working with my hands.
