Congratulations to the happy couple! Mark and Justina met in college and became fast friends, bonding over breakfast before classes, mutual college stressors, and ponderings of life. After two years of friendship, Mark and Justina started dating. They share a passion for sustainability, equity for all people, nature and supporting the local economy. 

We are best friends and life is so much brighter next to one another, so the commitment of marriage just felt right. When it came to purchasing an engagement ring, and searching through the dozens of designers, we needed to make sure they lived up to our values. Melissa Joy Manning, with their ethically acquired diamonds and metals, matched our ideals and style perfectly.

Mark, keeping it a secret from Justina, went to MJM with Justina’s mother and twin sister to design Justina’s ideal ring. Jackie was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and patient as she showed us hundreds of gem and metal combinations. Eventually they landed on the perfect one.

The wedding ring was designed with diamonds from Justina’s mother’s ring, with the same type of recycled white gold that was used in the engagement ring. Despite COVID-19, Jackie and Melissa spent a lot of time discussing the design and coming up with something that Mark and Justina felt would accentuate the engagement ring. The wedding ring is fitted around the engagement ring, it is so beautiful and both rings complement each other. We couldn’t imagine something better.

Together Mark & Justina have experienced endless laughter, incredible views, and serenity in nature.

We have grown in compassion and care, deeply connecting through long conversations, and bonding through hardships; all with an endless admiration for one another. Every moment, we choose to love each other and uplift one another. We have been so happy with our experience at MJM and recommend them to all of our loved ones.
