How is your jewelry produced?
All of our products are hand-fabricated in our design studio space in New York and with our artisan production partners. Our partners are chosen for their commitment to our values and whom have obtained (certification)
How long will it take for my jewelry to ship?
We are usually able ship pieces within three to five business days of your order, but orders placed with promotions like Cyber Monday may be produced within 2-4 weeks. If your order is time sensitive, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 855-850-7031 to ensure it is made and shipped on time.
What shipping options are available?
Domestic orders are shipped with UPS, and those orders over $200 qualify for free UPS Ground service, which can take up to 5 business days to deliver. International orders can be shipped with DHL Worldwide service. International orders may incur VAT or customs fees; these are the sole responsibility of the customer. Any orders refused for lack of payment will be returned to us and refunded, less the shipping costs. For more information about your country's policies on imports, please visit your country's customs website.
What is your online return policy?
Online orders are eligible for return for a refund, if the piece is returned to us within 14 days of being delivered. Return shipping is not covered, and we cannot refund the order's shipping payment once it goes out. We request that you reach out to us with your return request so that we can send over our return authorization information. Please note that custom orders (which includes the Be / Mine custom necklaces) and items purchased with a discount (including our Tax Day and Cyber Monday sales) are final sale and not eligible for a refund. Rings can be resized once free of cost, but certain styles can be tricky to resize, so please contact us to find out what the resizing options are for your piece. Late returns are subject to a restocking fee.

What type of metal is used in Melissa Joy Manning jewelry?
Our jewelry uses 100% recycled sterling silver, 14 karat and 18 karat gold. The metal is specified in each product description. We do not melt down the metal in-house; we work with a certified domestic refiner.
Are teachers or military service members eligible for any special discounts?
Yes! We appreciate the tremendous contribution these men and women have made to our communities, and are proud to offer 10% off MJM jewelry, both in our stores and online. Valid Military ID or Teacher's Union ID is required; please submit via email at email@example.com if you wish to use it online.
Why do the stones on my piece look different than those on the website?
We value the unique natural qualities of all the material we use. Many of our stones have natural texture, inclusions or coloring that can differ from stone to stone.
Do you make custom engagement rings?

Can you make jewelry with a diamond or stone I own?
We would love to work with heirloom stones you may want to repurpose. Please email email@example.com and show us a photo along with any ideas your may have for the new piece, and we'll put together a quote for the other materials and labor required.
Can I get a different size ring if mine doesn't fit?
We are able to resize rings, but some rings are not able to be adjusted based on their design. To request a ring resize contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 855-850-7031.
I lost my earring. Can I order a mate?
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to produce earring mates. However, if you are able to provide proof of purchase of your lost earrings, we are happy to extend a 20% discount on a new pair, should they be available. Any earrings no longer available are not subject to this discount and cannot be reproduced. Should you have a stone earring and wish to have it redesigned, please contact us at email@example.com or call 855-850-7031 to learn more.
How do I care for my jewelry?
You've invested in a quality piece of craftsmanship which requires regular care and attention. Here is a link to our care guide outlining proper methods to maintain your jewelry.
Can I apply a promo code to a past order?
We're sorry, but we cannot retroactively apply a discount to an order that was already processed. This applies to Cyber Monday and Tax day promotions.
