To put it simply, we create jewelry to make a positive impact on the world. Our MJM Gold Standard for ethically made jewelry mirrors our reverence for the natural world, and we're leading the charge towards ethics-driven design in our industry.
Who We Are.
We're leading the way to a more responsible future by using recycled precious metals, ethically-sourced stones wherever we can, and cutting-edge environmental and socially-responsible business practices.
Our Mission
Our Founder + Our Artisans
We’re a community of skilled artisans, dedicated to supporting domestic, handmade production that eliminates the carbon imprint and heavy waste from machine-made, imported jewelry. We value each one of our metalsmiths and support them as they grow their skills, and we're always learning from one another.
Our Gold Standard
We Create Heirloom-Quality Jewelry That Endures.
Our Jewelry, made to last, is created to be passed down through the generations. By designing and crafting our pieces to endure, we avoid the harmful culture of disposable fashion.
We Make Our Pieces By Hand, Not Machine.
No mass production, no machine-driven factory lines. By producing by hand in our Green-Certified California studio, we provide job opportunities for local artisans.
We Protect Our Planet.
Our production, packaging, and shipping follow the Zero-Waste philosophy. We reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever possible.

We Give Back to Our Communities.
In 2020, we donated $66,143 to charities that we're passionate about. This represents 3% of our gross earnings and more than 5% of net profits. We go above and beyond a 1% commitment. We focus on the following areas of giving:
- Hunger in our communities
- Environment
- Children
- Social Justice
Our Giveback.
It is our belief that the success we have should be shared, so we support a number of important causes on the local, nationwide, and international levels. Make sure to follow us on social media to find more ways you can contribute to our many non-profit partners.
Our Partners

We are proud to partner with the ACLU, RAICES, Surfrider Foundation, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and Clean Water Fund (just to name a few!). We have long supported the New York and Alameda Food Banks, and Feeding America, as well as regularly participating in team volunteer days to reach out to the least fortunate in our communities.
In 2021 we continued our giving efforts to respond to the COVID-19 crisis, and here are our collective accomplishments:
• Donated 21,386 meals for families across the nation, via ACCFB, Food Bank NYC, and Citymeals
• Donated $61,354 via the 12 Days of Giving campaign, along with other philanthropic endeavors, such as auctions for local schools, shelters, and research fundraisers.
•Supported over 30 organizations.
• Donated to the Housing Works Fashion for Action Event.
• Offset 63,700 lbs of CO2 through Climate Credits
And in 2022 we're pushing even further with more initiatives and partnerships to benefit our communities. Stay tuned for more!
